| The students should be able to present a record of case history, examination, diagnosis, expected prognosis and list treatment plan to be discussed with their clinical supervisors |
| Ability to educate and motivate patients about plaque control and maintaining good oral hygiene |
| Ability to identify plaque and calculus (supra- and sub-gingival) and know how to perform scaling and root planing |
| Use and manipulation of periodontal instruments correctly with care and rationale |
