Pediatric Nursing is a study of the basic aspects of growth and development through the life span from infant to adolescent. Pediatric Nursing is also a study of childhood disease and child care from infancy through adolescence. This study will focus on the care of the well and the ill child and will utilize the nursing process. |

1.To help the students identify common pediatric systemic abnormalities and to identify signs and symptoms that may enhance in providing appropriate nursing care. |
To aid the nursing students in building a strong knowledge base as well as to assist with the development of critical thinking skills. |
2. The course is designed to equip students with vital theories and concepts to critically analyze the health needs of pediatric patient. |
3. Enhance skills of nursing student application of some nursing procedure with special focus on diseases and development. |
