To provide students with adequate knowledge of four major types of pathologic processes requiring surgical intervention and state the categories and purpose of surgery | - Students will be able to discuss the significance of having good nutrition to pre- operative patient - Students will be able to outline appropriate nursing management to patient with burns | Develop student’s ability to complete patients’ history that will help in both medical and nursing management. | Enhance self-confidence in applying learned skills by performing, reinforcing new ideas to improve performance |
